ACAF postponed

Unfortunately, the ACAF event has had to be postponed for approximately 12 months.

Recent events, such as the floods here in Brisbane, have meant that some sponsors have needed to pull out, as they have re-allocated funds to support flood recovery and rebuilding here in QLD.

This is sad news for now, but please know that ACAF will still be happening in the future.
When it does, you can be sure that it will be a solid production and it will be properly promoted & advertised.
The additional times will also give us an opportunity to explore some extra activities to add to the event, which is actually good news!

Please make sure you re-visit the ACAF website in the coming months, to see any updates on the progress.

Also, the site here will be undergoing some big changes over the next few weeks.
These will be aimed at making this a place that you will want to visit again & again.

Second ACAF poster design revealed

It has been a little while since updates, but rest assured that things are still happening in the background.
There has been some good interest in attending ACAF, from local comic creators & publishers.

At this first event, we should have around 40 creators exhibiting their work. That may not sound like many, but it actually equals (and sometimes even exceeds) the number of creators in the Artists Alley, at other events in Australia.
So, having 40 Australian comic artists at the event is going to be pretty special!

Also special, is the new poster for ACAF, which you can see below.
Feel free to download this, email it to friends or whatever. The more people know about this event, the better it will be.

After a lot of fighting with technology, the website for ACAF is now live!!
But you already know this, because you are reading it right now………

The very first order of business is to see exactly who is interested in exhibiting at this event.
If that is you, please head on over to the exhibitor application form and fill it in.
(I know many people have already emailed me about exhibiting. I have your emails, but I will need you to please fill in this form as well)

There is a lot of information that still needs to come in regards to this event, so please be patient and bear with us.
